Ordering: a how-to guide
As of May 1, 2006, customers reordering shirts should provide a sample shirt of the design they are reordering. This will speed up the turnaround times in general and should insure complete reordering accuracy. (I've never screwed anything up, and this is assurance that I never will!)
Orders can be placed via email, telephone, or by visiting Screenarchy Headquarters in S.E. Minneapolis. I don't have set hours of business, but it's generally 9am - 5pm. Please contact me to make an appointment if you would like to sit down with your order. If you are out of the Twin Cities area, I ship via UPS. If you are a band on tour, I can rush an order, and ship it to wherever you need it (we have done this many, many times).
Submitting your artwork & order
A 50% deposit is needed to start any order.
Email: order@screenarchy.com Please specify the name of the order, the number of garments, sizes, color of the design(s), method of payment, and when you need them done by. If the art is too large to email, try stuffing it as a .ZIP or .SIT file.
Hardcopy: Screenarchy can accept artwork on CD or ZIP disks. If you need the image scanned, send it to me in a photo safe envelope. Any scanning and graphic design work over 15 minutes is $25/hour. Write out the specific order quantity, size and design specifics on a separate sheet.
Artwork
The image to be printed on the shirt should be black on a white background. If it is a 2-6 color image, each color should be a separate layer. I can do color separations for you if you are unable to. Size the image how you want it to look on the shirt, or specify in inches how tall and wide you would like it appear on the shirt. I'll do the first 15 minutes of prep work to your image(s) for free (generally plenty of time to prepare artwork). After that a $25/hr. fee for graphic clean-up and design will be applied. I will contact you beforehand for approval. Likewise, I can send you an example of the art before it goes to print.
Screenarchy accept the following file formats: .TIF, .JPG, .PDF, .EPS, .AI and .PSD. All file formats must have resolutions of 300dpi and embedded or outlined fonts.
Turnaround Time
Generally it takes 7-10 biz days from the time I get a 50%
deposit.
Rush jobs are accepted, but I will have to charge you a $50 fee to push back
all the other orders and make way for yours.
Payment
Cash is great. I also accept credit cards via Paypal, check, money order, and cashiers check. Orders with deposits made by personal checks won't be started until the check clears. Any bad checks will be charged $30.00 and you will be given a mean look for a little while.
