It is hard to believe that we are less than two months away from Christmas. As always we want to say thank you to everyone for keeping Screenarchy above water during this time of hardship. For small businesses it has been a turbulent year, and we are thankful that we have all of our loyal customers to keep us from becoming another statistic. Special thanks going out to Northern Brewer, University of Minnesota Students For Obama, Heathen Crusade, The Skullcranes, For Blood, MUSHR (Minnesota's Unwanted Siberian Husky Rescue), Our Judgment, Handyman Connection, and The Great Shark Hunt.
While we are not endorsing any particular candidate for local, state, or national races - we encourage everyone to take part in the voting process on Tuesday, November 4th. We feel it is important for every voice to be heard, no matter what your reasoning for backing your particular candidate. Here is to a successful voter turnout, and to an efficient and prosperous return to normalcy.
Cheers,
Kenny Cummer

It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce such sad news to all of the loyal Screenarchy customers...After nearly four years we are having to chalk up a point to the man for driving up our prices. In the past we have been able to sacrifice a few office luxuries to absorb the inflation that has occured througout the textile industry. To quote our distributors, "Manufacturers have announced a cost increase on their products, stating the increase is necessary because of the continuing increase of cotton, energy, and transportation costs." We received this news earlier today, stating that the price change will occur on Monday, October 6th.
Our policy has always been to give everyone ample notification of major changes. This definitely falls under that category, and we wouldn't think of treating it any other way. Therefore, we are going to honor our current prices until Monday, October 27th. That is a full month from today, giving everyone ample time to tie up any loose ends on orders they were putting together and budgeting via current pricing. The price change will be seen that day via the web. We are waiting on a final price guide from our suppliers to announce our new pricing. I can say that their preliminary numbers are indicating a 5% increase in product cost. We promise to keep the Screenarchy price increase equal to that of our manufacturers, maintaining an equal profit margin to our current pricing, and keeping our pledge to you that we will do our best to keep pricing reasonable and quality high. Thank you to everyone for your continued support of Screenarchy, we are hopeful that this is only a temporary price change and that we will be able to return to normalcy in a speedy manner.

We have only a few more weeks before our Summer Specials expire. A reminder, you must have your deposit and finalized artwork to us no later than Friday, August 22nd in order to qualify for the specials. We will be announcing our Winter Specials in the coming weeks. We also are announcing our Fall production shutdown which will be from August 25th - September 7th. We will still be available via phone and email, but all orders placed during that window will be sent to the presses on September 8th. We are making a few upgrades to the shop and also it is time for the dreaded mass cleaning that we always prolong until absolutely necessary.
Shoutouts to Threadbare, Agape, For Blood, Dairyland Youth, Apparently Nothing, Northern Brewer, Downtread, Target, Bachelor Party Weekend, The Party Unit, The Tank, and everyone else who has been keeping us busy this summer. We are once again ahead of our production numbers from last year. If we keep this pace up we will be able to give our workers in Guatemala a raise. We can hear the applause coming from Central America as we type this update!

With the recent flooding and tornado activity in the Midwest we are going to be rescheduling the Screenarchy customer appreciation BBQ. A firm date has not been set but it will most likely be in August. As soon as details are sketched out we will be sure to let everyone know. We spent a good portion of last weekend in Des Moines and we can say that we are thankful to have all of our friends and family in good health. Their homes and businesses, that is another story. Our hearts go out to all who have been affected by this catastrophic series of storms.
Business has slowed because of this but we haven't stopped. Shoutouts to Aesthetic Apparatus, Index Case, The Dresden Dolls (a collaborative effort between ourselves and client The Pretty Picture Machine), Grace Lutheran Church, Minneapolis Metro Transit, Trials, The Day Everything Became Nothing, F@#k I'm Dead, Nice Day Ahead, The Dog Perk, Prince Of Peace Lutheran Church, A Night In The Box, and everyone else who has been tappin the Screenarchy keg during the past month.

Greetings from Screenarchy HQ. It is time to roll out the 2008 Screenarchy Summer Specials, effective May 1st, 2008 - August 31st, 2008. The first special will be 100, 1-screen shirts, for $400 (excluding oversized shirts and specialty pieces). This has by far been the most popular special in past years and so we thought it was only fair to bring it back. In addition to that deal, we are offering 100, 2-screen shirts, for $525 (again, excluding oversized shirts and specialty pieces). Screenarchy is also introducing our referral program, which is as simple as they come. If you refer a new customer to us, have them mention your name when ordering and you receive a $10 credit (only one referral per order). You can allow your credits to build or you can use them as they are accrued. There is no expiration on the credit, however, there is a stipulation that you cannot pay in excess of 50% of your order with credit.
The credit system was initially going to be for bands and music industry clientele only, but then we realized we were probably imposing upon someone's 69th Amendment, so the lawyers advised us to open it up to everyone. Consider it your birthday 365 days a year at Screenarchy. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
We do have a band special starting next week in regards to graphic design. For the entire Summer Special window (May 1st, 2008 - August 31st, 2008) all designs for bands will be $25. The only requirement is that the merchandise is printed through Screenarchy. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us and we can discuss your needs!
A quick congratulations to Screenarchy client Attention. They are featured in the June issue of Alternative Press magazine as one of their best unsigned bands. In addition to that honor the band will be traveling across the pond for a two-week UK Tour with Jonah Matranga in May. You can find out more about Attention online at www.myspace.com/attention.

Happy April Fool's Day! No pranks here, we are too busy pumping out orders for all of you wonderful people. We will soon be announcing our Summer Specials, which will be effective May 1st. If we wait on the weather it may never come so we figured it would be best to pick a random date. So let it be known, Summer will begin on May 1st, 2008, and so it shall be.
Thanks going out to: Death By Hottie, River Falls HIgh School Global Awareness Club, Nathan Willar, The Body Beneath, Jen Hanf, Handyman Connection, Grand Demise of Civilization, Attention, Bentnote, Drift Effect, University of Minnesota Equestrian Team, Aaron Kennedy, Sam Keenan, and DrawFire Records. You all made the week a little easier by keeping me out of the snow and in the shop.
We are also happy to announce a separate special which is forthcoming for all bands and music industry clientele. Tour packages, graphic design discounts, and loyalty reward programs will all be a part of our new setup for the "special" people. It probably won't change the way you order, but it will save you on your overall cost. We all know that is the best thing that money can buy. Wait, I'm starting to sound like Yogi Berra on an Aflac commercial. On that note, I am out of here. And now for your moment of Zen - details coming soon on the 2nd Annual Screenarchy Customer Appreciation Fourth Of July Let's Have A Party To Celebrate Being Alive Party...
If you are new to Screenarchy, this is how it works: We produce the highest quality screen-printed apparel at the nation’s lowest prices, hands down. We don’t charge screen fees or any other confusing costs. Everything here is straightforward, fast, and reliable. We have been doing this, and this only, since 1999. Check out the plethora of customer's we have printed for on the Accolades Page and a few of the compliments they’ve given our work.
